Once your exam is complete we know both you and your physician want to know the results as soon as possible. This is why we offer 24-hour turnaround for imaging reports from our expert radiologists to your referring physician (please see “What is a Radiologist).

Note: You may have asked the medical imaging technician, or other AIS staff, who conducted your exam for feedback on your “results”. However, none of the AIS medical staff is allowed to provide results directly to the patients or family. This is because the images need to be “interpreted” by an expert radiologist who then places “findings” in a final exam report which is issued to the referring physician.
It is the responsibility of your referring physician to communicate your exam results to you and to chart a course of treatment which is appropriate for you.
